Sumner County Food Bank is dedicated to assist in the needs
of our neighbors with food, encouragement, friendship, and love. Together we can defeat hunger in Sumner County!
God is good!!! Because of the
evergrowing need of food in Sumner County, our food bank has outgrown our church. We prayed for God to show us the way and
Praise Him, He did. On October 1, we will have a new building for our food bank. It is located at 450-E on W.Main St. in Gallatin.
This will serve as our warehouse. Food distribution will continue from our church. With this new building, comes new
costs and responsibility. We need the support of all our sponsors, friends, and volunteers. Keep your eyes on our website
for all the new developements.
TESTIMONIALS Jim Turley, Gallatin, TN
Every time my family sits down to a hot meal, we thank the Lord for the Sumner County Food Bank.
Nikki, Gallatin,
TN Thanks to Liberty Baptist Church and everyone who has volunteered to help make the food bank possible. My husband
had a heart attack and it has kept him off work. Without them, I wouldn't be able to make it through the month. Bless
you all.
Jimmie Cook, Gallatin, TN The food I receive each month is a big help to me and my family.
I am a foster mom for children that have nothing. I am unable to work now. I thank God and you and all your volunteers for
the wonderful food, friendship, and love. God bless.
We are certified by the Tennessee Department of Health
in the handling of food. Certificate on display
GET IT RIGHT NOW!!
Ms. Barbara, Ms. Edna and Mike are busy
Sumner County Food Bank has added a new mission to our busy schedule.
Each week, we deliver food to the Veteran's home on 109 S. in Gallatin. These brave warriors of past wars deserve to be
remembered and thanked with our support. They only have microwaves on which to cook, therefore, we supply them with fresh
fruit, vegetables, breads, pastries, and microwavable meals. You can support your veterans by donating to this cause. God
bless
We love to fill
boxes.
Get Ready! It's Christmas
